Entry Tests Preparation(MDCAT)

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) is a standardized examination conducted annually in Pakistan for students aspiring to pursue careers in medicine and dentistry. Administered by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the MDCAT assesses candidates’ knowledge and aptitude in key science subjects, including biology, chemistry, physics, English, and logical reasoning.

Eligibility Criteria (MDCAT)

  • Academics: Minimum 60% in FSc (Pre-Medical or Equivalent)
  • Open to all Pakistani nationals, Overseas Pakistanis and Foreign applicants

Merit Formula

  • MDCAT: 50%
  • FSc Marks: 40%
  • Metrics: 10%  

Structure

  • Total number of MCQS: 200
  • Duration: 3.5 hours

Format

  • Paper based MCQS
  • Minimum pass marks for Medical College admission: 65%
  • Minimum pass marks for Dental College admission: 55%
  • No negative marking
